Fsx tbm, The Grumman TBF Avenger (designated TBM for aircraft manufactured by General Motors) is an American torpedo bomber developed initially for the United States Navy and Marine Corps, and eventually used by several air and naval aviation services around the world. FSX – Grumman Avenger TBM-3W. The Eastern TBM-3W Avenger was an airborne early warning radar aircraft developed during the Second World War but that only entered service in May 1946. The TBM-3W joined the fleet in May 1946, and was soon paired with the TBM-3S in hunter-killer anti-submarine teams. This particular livery of the F9F is in dark blue, as were other carrier-borne aircraft (like the Grumman TBM 3S2/3W2 Avenger) in the early days of post-WW2 RNLN operations.
